Cardboard box. The box is empty. The sides of the box are black, and each contain the word "Fumistine" in a white panel with black text. On the two long sides, the 'Fumistine' panel is centred, with text to the left side reading "cuisineres, fourneaux" and to the right reading "poêles, tuyaux." The top of the box depicts a black caricature figure at the centre, smiling wide and brandishing a cleaning cloth in one hand and (presumably) Fumistine polish in the other. The man wears an apron and leans over a surface. The word 'Fumistine' is printed across the foreground of the image, as if it rests on top of the surface. In the surface the mirrors of 'umistine' are visible. The man's arms overlap the 'um' and the 'in' slightly. At the top of the image, bracketing the man's head, words are printed: "la pate qui nettoie et fait briller - la fonte et l'acier."
