Title: Samva metal polish bottle
Description: Cylindrical metal bottle. On the lid is stamped the word "PATENT." The bottle is wrapped in paper with a caricatured black woman holding another bottle of Samva Brut. With her other hand she points to the text along the bottom of the paper: "SAMVA VOOR METALEN" on one side, and on the other, "SAMVA POUR METAUX." The French side has a stain over the word "Metaux," rendering it difficult to read. In a banner by the woman's head, the polish brands itself "No. 1." Between the Dutch and French sides, a small banner reads as follows: "SAMVA tel. 3321.60 Etterbeek - Av. de la Chasse - 64 - Jachtlaan." Along the top of the illustration are the words "Bouchage, breveté" in French and "Berreveteerd, stopmiddel" in Dutch.
